What does floating do for my body?

Floating helps reduce stress, ease muscle tension, and support circulation, allowing the body to relax deeply and recover.

What does floating do for my mind?

Floating encourages deep relaxation and theta brainwave states often experienced during meditation. Many people notice improved clarity, creativity, and a profound sense of calm.

Will my skin wrinkle in the water?

No. The high Epsom salt content actually leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished.

Is floating safe?

Yes. The water is carefully filtered, UV sterilised, and rich in Epsom salts. You are always in control and can open the tank or exit at any time.

Can I float while pregnant?

Floating is generally safe and very relaxing during pregnancy after the first trimester. Please let us know when booking.

What if I feel claustrophobic?

The tank often feels more like floating in space than being enclosed. This is not a small pod you step into it’s a private room with a high ceiling. You can float with the light on or the door slightly open if

preferred, so you remain comfortable and in control.

What do I need to bring?

• Towel
• Face cloth
• Ear plugs 

How long is a session?

You will float for 60 minutes, with time before and after for changing and showering. Please allow 90 minutes total. Packages with massage and integration will take longer.

How should I prepare?

Avoid caffeine for a few hours beforehand, stay hydrated, and eat a light meal about 60–90 minutes before your float.

Can I float while menstruating?

Yes. If you are menstruating, you will simply need to use a tampon or menstrual cup.

When You Should Not Float

Please reschedule your session if:

• You are feeling unwell (fever, cough, shortness of breath)
• You have open wounds
• You have infectious skin conditions
• You have had diarrhoea within the last 14 days
• You are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• You have recently dyed your hair or applied tanning products
• You experience active seizure disorders or uncontrolled epilepsy
